The Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay For The Kids is more than staying up all night with your friends and running in circles; it’s 24 little hours that can make a lifetime of difference in lives of children with disabilities.
We put a lot of hard work into our team’s fundraising events and we collect individual pledges to put towards our team total. But the effort is worth it, because all of the money that is raised stays in the province and helps the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities send hundreds of kids to Easter Seals Summer Camps. Besides, we get to celebrate our achievements along with our team during Relay weekend by joining in the many activities and enjoying the live entertainment between laps. No matter what we end up doing, it’s a great chance to reflect on the on the real reason we participate in the 24 Hour Relay – the kids.
